Eagle the Twisted Wheel DJ had a wide taste in music.
He introduced jazz, blues
and soul tracks into his play list. Cozy Cole's Big Noise From Winetka was a
big drum sound that he would feature around 19645 at the Brazennose Street club.

Cozy Cole had a long and successful career with many of the
greats in jazz - Louis Armstrong, Benny Carter, Cab
Calloway and Lionel Hampton. In 1943, he joined Raymond Scott's CBS radio
orchestra. Scott called him, 'The most professional musician I've ever
worked with.'
In
1953, he formed a school for drummers with Gene Krupa in New
York. In the
1950s, The Cozy Cole Combo appeared at the Metropole in New
York, they recorded an instrumental - Topsy which became a million seller.
He continued to tour with Jonah Jones, Cab Calloway, and
others until he retired in the mid-1970s.
