Eddie Holman had a number two hit in 1970 with Hey There Lonely Girl sung with a very high falsetto which seems to have long gone out of fashion - not quite what you would expect from rappers and other 'artists' who take themselves oh so seriously in our present age. Definitely a Philly sound this song still gets occasional airings today.

Eddie Holman became an ordained baptist minister and spreads the word with his music. He also has his own record label - Agape (Greek for love).
