Muscle Shoals Florence Alabama being another.
Wilson Picket – “6345789”
Percy Sledge – “When A Man Loves A
Woman” were recorded here, as was most of
Joe Tex's tracks.
Aretha Franklin
was recorded here: “I Never Loved A Man”.
Dan Penn
wrote and recorded here. Bill Lowery brought in the acts and Rick Hall
engineered them, starting in 1964 with
Jimmy Hughes – “Steal Away”.
