This beatiful Welsh singer-songwriter has a beautfiul voice to match.

She has brought out 2 albums now the last of which was in 2010, both a huge success.

She has a long love of soul music and quite funnily she recalls her first introduction of Soul being Whoopi Goldberg's Sister Act!

She's still going strong and producing excellent music, also having a large degree fo success in the US.

If you like her try Adele and vice versa.

Adele

Another graduate of the BRIT School in Croydon, which is pouring out some of the best talent at the minute. Adele has released her second album 3 years on from the success of her first, and its a brilliant collection.

Perhaps best known for tracks such as "someone like you" and "rolling on the deep" which show off her stunning range. She has a very soulful voice.

Amy Winehouse

Amy Winehouse although possibly more famous for her drug habit and unfortunate young death in 2011 aged just 27, was an excellent singer and brought back Soul & Jazz to the world to generations who never knew what they were mising.

Amy Winehouse could very well be credited to paving the way for the likes of Adele and Duffy, especially in their international success after she was so well recieved in teh US.

She was well known for her appearance fo having a beehive hairdo and cleopatra eye makeup, a style she was rarely seen without.

Beverely Knight

Beverley knight is a true ambassador to British Soul.

Inspired heavily by the likes of Aretha Franklin and Sam Cooke she has brought out six fantastic albums remaining very true to the original greats.

Beverley is regarded as one of the best in the business and is one of the best Soul and R&B artists to have emerged in the UK in a number of years. Her latest album Soul UK, pays homage to some of the Artists who inspired her with a great set of covers each with an impression of her unique style.

Emeli Sande

She first made it big when featuring on a track by Chipmunk called Diamond Rings. The pairs collaboration broguht them both their first top 10 hit, and it propelled Edeli into the public spotlight.
